BBF Certification Vendors |

The BBF Certification Program verifies compliance of vendor equipment to BBF technical specifications through a rigorous series of tests based on BBF approved Test Suites. The program currently includes three MPLS Certifications: TDM over MPLS, ATM over MPLS and IP & Ethernet over MPLS. Enrollment for TDM over MPLS is open to all BBF member companies and ATM over MPLS and IP & Ehternet over MPLS will be available in the course of 2010. The program tracks areas of critical interest to members of the BBF and will expand as further technical specifications are developed. MPLS Certifications The MPLS Certifications are composed of a comprehensive set of Test Suites to verify conformance to architectures and protocols required to implement MPLS. | Circuit Emulation Services (Time Division Multiplexing): The Abstract Test Suite for TDM Services over MPLS describes test procedures based on the requirements for encapsulating TDM signals over MPLS networks and distributing timing using pseudo-wires over a MPLS network.

- All the BBF technical specifications are publicly available for download from the BBF website at BBF Technical Initiatives.
Testing Process- Test Location: Testing takes place in our lab located in South San Francisco, California or under special circumstances at the vendor premises.
- Test Scheduling: Testing should be scheduled at least one month in advance and Iometrix does its utmost to accommodate vendor schedules.
- Test Duration: is variable but generally do not exceed one week. If some issues occur during the initial test run, vendors can reschedule additional testing at no extra costs until full certification is achieved.
- Onsite Support: Vendors need to provide on-site engineering support during the testing period to configure their equipment, review results during the course of the testing process and take corrective action if required.
- Test Equipment: Iometrix supplies all test equipment, software, scripts and related technical support.
- Test Procedure: Iometrix test engineers perform all tests and test procedures adhere strictly to the Test Plans as approved by the BBF.
