Cloud-Native, NFV-Based Certification Platform
Engineered for High-Performance Certification Testing
Built to accelerate every stage of certification testing, the platform offers a web-based interface for launching and managing all test functions, a cloud-hosted engine that generates, executes, logs and debug tests, and NFV-powered test probes that run on bare-metal servers deployable in labs or the field—all working together to deliver engineering precision, faster execution, agile deployment, and advanced automation.

Certification Process
Well-Guided, Self-Service Process
Each certification—service or product—must be completed within six months of activation, and when pursuing multiple certifications, each can be done sequentially.
User-Executed Sequential and Interactive Workflow
From order to testing to completion, users follow a guided, sequential flow through direct interaction with the platform and with on-demand, remote support from Iometrix.
Lab in the Sky Platform
Submit an order for the services or products to be certified
Prepare the network environment (providers) or the lab environment (vendors) for testing
Deploy and connect the test probes on the environment following the provided instructions
Activate the certification project(s), triggering the six-month completion period
Configure the network or product to exactly match the certification service specifications
Run the complete suite of MEF-based tests, using advanced debug capabilities until all tests pass
Get on-demand remote assistance from Iometrix, primarily through the ticketing system
Submit all configurations, test results, and documentation for final Iometrix validation
Deliverables to Promote, Position, and Prove
Certified companies leverage their awarded deliverables to promote their certification, enhance their brand’s market visibility and prove the technical credibility of their certified offerings—earning trusted recognition across the industry.

The Carrier Ethernet Certification Program is delivered through an enduring partnership between Mplify and Iometrix that started two decades ago with the launch of CE 1.0 in 2005, followed by CE 2.0 in 2012, MEF 3.0 in 2018 and now CE for Business and AI in 2026—each generation expanding and enhancing services, improving processes and tools, and growing adoption among providers and vendors in all regions of the world.
